Chrome Music Lab features 14 different experiments that helps users to explore how music work and make it easier to build interactive music. We will focus on five of the experiments: Song Maker, Rhythm, Voice Spinner, Kandinsky and Melody Maker.1- Song Maker
Song Maker experiment allow its users to learn about and begin to create simple music using drum and melodic sounds. The entire process of creating music is touch based you have to touch the block to add or remove sound. The initial layout depends on the device being used but you can change bar and sounds to create unique Music. This fun experiment let users unleash their creativity and explore the art of composing music.2- Rhythm
Rhythm is a major aspect of music and Chrome Music Lab provides an experiment which is dedicated to exploring rhythm. To create the unique rhythm users can experiment with different patterns and beats. Rhythm experiment is very simple and fun to use you have to Click on dots to add a four-beat rhythm which is the most common one you can also add three, five, six and more then press play to listen.3- Voice Spinner
Voice Spinner is like a record player you have to spin the spinner to record your own voice or voice around you. It is a fun experiment in which you have to spin faster to get the pitch of your sound higher and lower to get the pitch lower.4- Kandinsky
Kandinsky experiment is inspired by the work of Wassily Kandinsky, an Russian artist who drew connections between painting and making music. It allow you to draw on a totally blank canvas and then turn whatever you draw into sounds. You have to press the play button to hear your sketches given musical sounds.5- Melody Maker
Melody Maker experiment function similarly to Song Maker and concentrate on crafting the melodies for the single instrument. Each column contain a single pitch which goes up to down and time moves left to right.How were these Experiments built?
